A Ministry of Education programme the council runs in all Efrat gans and elementary schools (Mishlav and Mamad in Tamar, Orot Etzion Junior Division, Aseh Chayil) during the Chanukah and Pesach breaks, for gan children and grades 1-3.

The Efrat Matnas runs afternoon programmes (tzaharonim) for gans in every gan complex with enough children, and for schools, in partnership with the Ministry of Labour; working mothers can apply for a subsidy.
