About
About Efrat Local
An independent, free guide to Efrat & Gush Etzion for people who are new here, and for everyone who helps them settle in.

Why I built it
I'm Ari, of Consult With Ari. Moving to a new city means a hundred small questions: which doctor speaks your language, where the nearest kosher bakery is, when Shabbat comes in, which office handles arnona. The answers are usually scattered across WhatsApp groups and old Facebook posts. I wanted one calm place where every answer shows where it came from.
How I check listings
How I check listings
- Every listing comes from the place's own website, an official register or another public page, and links to it.
- Each one shows the date it was last checked. Listings are re-checked in rotation, and the date changes when they are.
- Listings are free. Nobody pays to be here, and nobody pays to be higher up.
- Kashrut is shown exactly as the business states it. It isn't a ruling; ask your rav.
- Translations are marked "translated, not yet reviewed" until a native speaker has checked them.
