The Gush Etzion Junction is about 16 km from Jerusalem. Every bus line here is now run by Electra Afikim, according to the Ministry of Transport timetable (GTFS) for Tuesday 6 October 2026; the council's transport page still names Egged Ta'avura (Efrat council (opens in a new tab)). Line-by-line times and the stops near you are on Getting around.

Tickets and planning
Pay with a Rav-Kav card; a personal Rav-Kav gets you the right discounts. Check live times on the Ministry of Transport site (bus.gov.il (opens in a new tab)) or a journey-planner app such as Moovit before you travel. Complaints go to the Ministry of Transport, with a copy to the council (Efrat council (opens in a new tab)).
Trips outside Efrat
Group trips and hikes outside Efrat need security coordination with the army (02-530-5042), and then a call to the Efrat security centre on *5436 (Efrat council (opens in a new tab)).
