A 954 m hill above the Bracha Valley where the Russian Orthodox Church built a pilgrims' monastery in 1892; a key position in the 1948 battles for Gush Etzion, with mikvaot and burial caves on its slopes.

Remains of a Second Temple-period farm by the Bat Ayin access road, with a large rock-cut mikveh whose steps still show the partition between those going down and those coming up.

Part of the water system Herod built to carry water to Jerusalem, on Route 60 just south of Elazar and minutes from Efrat. You wade through an underground tunnel with thigh-high water, so bring a torch, water shoes and dry clothes.
